"Blood Red Summer" is the second single and sixth track from Coheed and Cambria's second studio album, '' In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3''. A video was recorded and received airplay on MTV, MTV2, and Fuse. The video was on the first preview disk packaged with the PlayStation Portable. The song peaked at 29 on the US Alternative Songs chart. Music video The music video of the song (directed by Marc Webb) begins with lead singer/guitarist, Claudio Sanchez, in a cabin in the woods. He is shown setting up alarms and booby traps such as trip wires and spot lights outside the cabin and constructing a fence to surround the cabin. All the while he sees fellow band members Travis Stever, Michael Todd, and Josh Eppard, only to suddenly close his eyes and then they are gone. Coheed and Cambria are an American progressive rock band from Nyack, New York, formed in 1995. The band consists of Claudio Sanchez (vocals, guitars, keyboards), Travis Stever (guitars, vocals), Josh Eppard (drums, keyboards, backing vocals), and Zach Cooper (bass, backing vocals). The group's music incorporates aspects of progressive rock, pop, heavy metal, and post-hardcore. Michael Robert Todd or Mic Todd (pronounced "Mike"; born August 19, 1980) is the former bassist for the progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria. Upon the time of his initial departure, he had been with the band for ten years. He officially parted ways with the band in 2011. Shabütie When the band Shabütie needed a new bass player to replace founding member Jon Carleo, drummer Nate Kelley suggested a former bandmate named Mic Todd. Originally a guitarist, he was asked to join the band to fill out their lacking rhythm section. Travis Stever (born November 25, 1978) is an American musician who is best known as the lead guitarist and co-founder of progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria. Coheed and Cambria Travis Stever is a founding member of Coheed and Cambria. The band is named after the title characters in lead singer-guitarist Claudio Sanchez's story, which is central to most of the band's albums. Stever acts as a lead and rhythm guitarist in the band. He wrote the lyrics for the song "Ten Speed". He and Sanchez share leads and solos in the band's music, and often switch back and forth in the "dueling guitar" style made popular in the 1970s.
