Live At The Paramount (video)
''Live at the Paramount'' is a live video and album by American rock band Nirvana, released in September 2011. It was released on DVD and Blu-ray Disc as part of the 20th anniversary of the band's second album and mainstream breakthrough, ''Nevermind''. It features the band's live performance at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, Washington on October 31, 1991. Recorded five weeks after the release of ''Nevermind'', the footage is taken from the only Nirvana show to be shot on 16 mm film. The Blu-ray features uncompressed 48 kHz/24-bit sound. As well as the standalone DVD and Blu-ray releases, a DVD along with a CD audio version of the show are available packaged together as part of the limited edition Super Deluxe box set reissue of the ''Nevermind'' album. Everett True (born Jeremy Andrew Thackray on 21 April 1961) is an English music journalist and musician. He became interested in rock music after hearing The Residents, and formed a band with school friends. He has written and recorded as The Legend! Career In 1982, he went to a gig by The Laughing Apple and met the group's lead singer Alan McGee. Olympia, Washington
Olympia is the capital of the U.S. state of Washington and the county seat and largest city of Thurston County. Nikki McClure
Nikki McClure is a papercut artist based in Olympia, Washington. She is the author and illustrator of a number of children's books and produces an annual calendar. Biography McClure grew up in Kirkland, Washington. She moved to Olympia in 1986 to attend The Evergreen State College where she studied natural history and received B.S. and B.A. degrees in 1991. She would take walks in the forest, making up songs and singing them loudly; sometimes performing them at house shows. She sang onstage during the August 1991 International Pop Underground Convention in Olympia, and one of her songs was included on the vinyl edition of the Convention's live album. McClure rented a studio near K Records and experimented with linocuts. Following her graduation, she took a job at the Washington Department of Ecology. The Vaselines
The Vaselines are a Scottish alternative rock band. Formed in Glasgow, Scotland in 1986, the band was originally a duo between its songwriters Eugene Kelly and Frances McKee, but later added James Seenan and Eugene's brother Charlie Kelly on bass and drums respectively from the band Secession. McKee had formerly been a member of a band named The Pretty Flowers with Duglas T. Stewart, Norman Blake, Janice McBride and Sean Dickson. Eugene Kelly had formerly played in The Famous Monsters. ''Bleach'' is the debut studio album by American rock band Nirvana, released on June 15, 1989, by Sub Pop. After the release of their debut single "Love Buzz" on Sub Pop in November 1988, Nirvana rehearsed for two to three weeks in preparation for recording a full-length album. The main recording sessions for ''Bleach'' took place at Reciprocal Recording in Seattle, Washington between December 1988 and January 1989. It is the only Nirvana album released on the Sub Pop label and their only album to feature drummer Chad Channing. ''Bleach'' did not chart upon initial release, but was well received by critics.
