Live At Loch Lomond
Live at Loch Lomond was a concert festival that took place at Balloch Country Park in 2007 and 2008. The inaugural festival took place from August 4 to August 5, 2007. Nearly 30,000 people attended over the two days. Main bands performing were Dirty Pretty Things, Feeder, Starsailor, Supergrass, 2 Many DJs and Sunday's closing act, Faithless. The dance tent featured Pete Tong, David Guetta and Carl Cox. The Hacienda Classics Tent, celebrating 25 years of one of the world's most famous clubs, was popular on Sunday with DJ sets from Boney, Peter Hook, A Guy Called Gerald. Embrace are an English rock band formed in Bailiff Bridge, West Yorkshire, England, in 1990. The band consists of brothers singer Danny McNamara and guitarist Richard McNamara, bassist Steve Firth, keyboardist Mickey Dale, and drummer Mike Heaton. The View are a Scottish indie rock band. They incorporate various styles such as punk, pop, alternative rock, and folk in their music. Ocean Colour Scene (often abbreviated to OCS) are an English Rock music, rock band formed in Solihull in 1989. They have had five top 10 albums including a number one in 1997. Mark Berry (born 18 April 1964), better known as Bez, is an English percussionist, dancer, DJ and media personality. He is best known as a member of the rock bands Happy Mondays and Black Grape. Early life Mark Berry was born on 18 April 1964 in Bolton, Lancashire, the son of parents from the Norris Green district of Liverpool. His father was a detective inspector. Peter Hook
Peter Hook (born Woodhead; 13 February 1956) is an English musician, best known as the bassist and co-founder of the rock bands Joy Division and New Order. Hook often used the bass as a lead instrument, playing melodies on the high strings with a signature heavy chorus effect. In New Order, he would do this, leaving the actual basslines to keyboards or sequencers. Hook formed the band which was to become Joy Division with Bernard Sumner in 1976. Balloch Country Park
Balloch Country Park is a country park on the southern tip of Loch Lomond in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. It was recognised as a country park in 1980, and it is the only country park in the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, Scotland's first national park.
