Live Revelations
''Live Revelations: Onstage, Offstage, Backstage'' is a 2009 live CD/DVD released by the Christian rock band Third Day. Most of the tracks are from their album ''Revelation'', released in 2008. Some of the songs were cut off the CD but can be found on the DVD. The package won the Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album Grammy Award. The concert was shot and recorded in Atlanta, Georgia, Raleigh, North Carolina, Nashville, Tennessee, and Houston, Texas during the Music Builds Tour along with Switchfoot, Robert Randolph, and Jars of Clay. All of them are featured in the song "When Love Comes to Town". The album has been certified Gold by the RIAA while the DVD was nominated for a Dove Award for Long Form Music Video of the Year at the 41st GMA Dove Awards. Third Day
Third Day was a Christian rock band formed in Marietta, Georgia during the 1990s. The band was founded by lead singer Mac Powell, guitarist Mark Lee (both of whom were the only constant members) and Billy Wilkins. Drummer David Carr was the last band member to quit, prior to the band’s farewell tour in May and June 2018. The band's name is a reference to the biblical accounts of the resurrection of Jesus on the third day following his crucifixion. The band was inducted in the Georgia Music Hall of Fame on September 19, 2009. They have sold over 7 million albums in the United States and had 28 number one Christian album chart radio hits. Switchfoot
Switchfoot is an American rock band from San Diego, California. The band's members are Jon Foreman (lead vocals, guitar), Tim Foreman (bass guitar, backing vocals), Chad Butler (drums, percussion), and Jerome Fontamillas (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals). After early successes in the Christian rock scene, Switchfoot first gained mainstream recognition with the inclusion of four of their songs in the 2002 movie ''A Walk to Remember''. The ''Billboard'' 200 is a record chart ranking the 200 most popular music albums and EPs in the United States. The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards took place on January 31, 2010, at Staples Center in Los Angeles honoring the best in music for the recording year beginning October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009. The 41st Annual GMA Dove Awards presentation was held on April 21, 2010 recognizing accomplishments of musicians for the year 2009.
