Live Again (TV Series)
''Live Again'' () is a 2007 Singaporean Mandarin drama series which was telecast on Singapore's free-to-air channel, MediaCorp TV Channel 8. The serial debuted on 13 November 2007. It consists of 20 episodes, and was originally screened on every weekday night at 9 pm. It stars Ivy Lee , Phyllis Quek , Shaun Chen , Vivian Lai & Chen Shucheng as the casts of this series. The serial portrays the psychological and physical trauma experienced by victims of domestic violence. It was broadcast again on 5 July 2008 from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm every weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Ivy Lee (actress)
Ivy Lee (; born 16 July 1973) is a Singaporean former actress and host. She was prominently a full-time Mediacorp artiste from 1993 to 2007. Early life and career Lee graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a Diploma in Biomedical in 1993. The same year, she joined TCS (predecessor of MediaCorp) after winning the biannual Star Search and clinching the "Miss Photogenic" title at the same contest. At the Star Awards 2006, Lee was awarded the Best Actress award for her role as a lawyer in the drama serial ''Family Matters''. Before that, she was also named the ''Best Actress'' another two times; the first in 2000, and then in 2004. Edmund Chen
Edmund Chen () (born 4 February 1961) is a Singaporean former actor and artist. He began his career in 1987 and rose to become one of Singapore's most prominent and popular actors during the 1990s and early 2000s. Career Chen entered the entertainment industry after completing the SBC (predecessor of MediaCorp) 7th drama training course in 1987. He starred in several high-profile dramas such as sci-fi drama series ''Star Maiden'', ''Air Force'' and police thriller ''Patrol'', where he met and later married co-star Xiang Yun. Nelson Chia
Nelson Chia () is a Singaporean theatre director, actor and lecturer. He is the co-founder of Nine Years Theatre. Early life and education Chia studied at The Chinese High School and Hwa Chong Junior College. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies from National University of Singapore and a master's degree in Theatre Arts (Directing) from Goldsmiths College, University of London. Career Chia has been working in theatre both as an actor and director since 1994. Gam Ngan Gei (born 17 June 1946), better known as Jin Yinji, is a Singaporean actress of South Korean descent. Phyllis Quek
Phyllis Quek (; born 23 August 1972) is a Malaysian model, actress, and singer. She was prominently a full-time Mediacorp artist from 1995 to 2001, and was ranked by local media as the 'Fourth Ah Jie' for being the fourth most prominent actress in Singapore's Chinese-language entertainment industry of that time after Zoe Tay, Fann Wong and Ann Kok. Channel 8 ( zh, 8頻道) is a Singaporean free-to-air television channel, airing in Mandarin Chinese. It was created by Television Singapura on 31 August 1963 with experimental broadcasts, before going official on 23 November that year. The channel's logo is a yellow number 8 on top of a red disc. History Channel 8 began its test transmissions on Saturday, 31 August 1963, Malaysia's national day. Its first day consisted of a Hokkien film, repeats of India's participation in the South East Asian Cultural Festival and Singapore Celebrates.
