Liu Hsia
Liu Hsia (; 28 February 1942 – 8 February 2003), better known by her pen name Hsinglintzu (), was a Taiwanese writer. She was born in Fufeng, Shaanxi on 28 February 1942, and later moved to Taiwan, attending elementary school in Beitou. Liu was diagnosed with atrophic arthritis, a form of rheumatoid arthritis, in 1954, aged 12. Her condition ended her formal education and required the use of a wheelchair. Aged 16, Liu converted to Christianity. In the early 1970s, Liu spent two years as a volunteer with two organizations, both working with the disabled. In 1982, Liu founded the Eden Social Welfare Foundation with NT$200,000 she had won as one of ten "outstanding young women" of 1980. The organization was named after the Garden of Eden, as Liu's goal was to create a paradise for the disabled. Though she worked with six fellow Christians as cofounders, Liu was regarded as the "spiritual leader" of the organization. For her activism, Liu was later awarded the for social service. ...

Liu Xia (badminton)
Liu Xia (; Mandarin pronunciation: lʲə́u ɕáː) is a former badminton player from China. Liu is one of the players from China who played in the era of split between World Badminton Federation (WBF) and International Badminton Federation (IBF). The Chinese badminton team was the member of WBF due to dispute, she therefore wasn't able to participate in many of the big tournaments which were handled and sanctioned only by the IBF, but still excelled in various continental championships which included Asian Games, Asian Championships and Asian Invitational Championships. She was the gold medalist in the World Championship which rival organisation WBF conducted in 1979. Liu Xia (; born 1 April 1961, Beijing, China) is a Chinese painter, poet, and photographer. Liu Xia was under effective house arrest in China as her husband, Liu Xiaobo, had been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2010. She remained under house arrest until 10 July 2018, when she was allowed to travel to Germany for medical treatment.
