The ''Spring and Autumn Annals of the Ten Kingdoms'', also known by its Chinese title ''Shiguo Chunqiu'' (), is a history of the Ten Kingdoms that existed in southern China after the fall of the Tang Dynasty and before the reunification of China by the Song Dynasty. The book was written and compiled by the Qing Dynasty scholar Wu Renchen ( 1628 – 1689). Wu took part in the compilation of ''Mingshi'', the official history of the Ming Dynasty, and felt that the official dynastic histories have neglected the Ten Kingdoms. Lady Jin (金氏, personal name unknown) was the second known wife of Wang Yanjun, a ruler of the Chinese Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period state Min. Very little was recorded in written history about her. Wang Jipeng () (died August 29, 939), used the name Wang Chang () from 935 to 939, formally Emperor Kangzong of Min (), was an emperor of the Chinese Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period state Min. Tang, known in historiography as the Later Tang, was a short-lived imperial dynasty of China and the second of the Five Dynasties during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period in Chinese history. The first three of the Later Tang's four emperors were ethnically Shatuo. The name Tang was used to legitimize itself as the restorer of the Tang dynasty. Wu Renchen
Wu Renchen (吳任臣, ) ( 1628 – 1689), with courtesy names of Zhiyi (志伊), Erqi (爾器) and Zhenghong (征鴻), and an art name of Tuoyuan (託園), was a Chinese historian, mathematician, politician, and writer during the Qing dynasty. Originally from Renhe (仁和; today's Hangzhou, Zhejiang), he gained recognition in the field of historical scholarship and was recommended in 1678 to take the special examination known as ''boxue hongci'' (博學鴻詞), which he passed in the following year. Thereafter he became a corrector in the Hanlin Academy and contributed to the compilation of the official ''History of Ming'', focusing on the section dealing with the calendar, in which he made special contributions.
