Liu Faqing
Liu Faqing (; born June 1964) is a lieutenant general ('' zhongjiang'') of the People's Liberation Army (PLA). He has been serving as Secretary-General of National Defense Mobilization Commission since December 2021, and formerly served as deputy commander of the People's Liberation Army Ground Force and formerly served as commander of the People's Liberation Army Air Force Airborne Corps. Liu was promoted to the rank of major general ( shaojiang) in December 2014 and lieutenant general (zhongjiang) in December 2019. Biography Liu was born in Yanshi, Henan in June 1964. He enlisted in the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in October 1982. National Defense Mobilization Commission
The National Defense Mobilization Commission (; abbreviated NDMC) is an organization under the State Council of the People's Republic of China and the Central Military Commission responsible for coordinating decisions concerning military affairs, strategic plans and defense mobilization. It is responsible for bringing together civic resources in the event of a war, and coordinating these efforts with military operations. The commission is usually chaired by the Premier of the People's Republic of China. It was established by the "National Defense Mobilization Law" in November 1994. Since 2018, Premier Li Keqiang has served as chairman of the commission, with State Council Secretary-General Xiao Jie and Defense Minister Wei Fenghe as vice chairmen, and Lieutenant General Liu Faqing as secretary-general. (; ja, 将, Shō; ) is the rank held by general officers in some East Asian militaries. The ranks are used in both the People's Republic of China and the Republic of China on Taiwan. The People's Liberation Army and the People's Armed Police use three levels at present while the Republic of China Armed Forces use four. In both North and South Korea the rank is also used. Li Fengbiao (; born October 1959) is a general ('' Shangjiang'') of the People's Liberation Army (PLA). He is the current political commissar of the Western Theater Command, one of the five military regions of the People's Liberation Army. He is a member of the 19th CPC Central Committee. People's Liberation Army
The People's Liberation Army (PLA) is the principal military force of the People's Republic of China and the armed wing of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The PLA consists of five service branches: the Ground Force, Navy, Air Force, Rocket Force, and Strategic Support Force. It is under the leadership of the Central Military Commission (CMC) with its chairman as commander-in-chief. People's Liberation Army Ground Force
The People's Liberation Army Ground Force (PLAGF; ) is the land-based service branch of the People's Liberation Army and the largest and oldest branch of the entire Chinese armed forces. The PLAGF can trace its lineage from 1927 as the Chinese Red Army; however, it was not officially established until 1948.
