Liu Chun Fai
Liu Chun Fai (; born 1956) is a former Hong Kong professional footballer. He is regarded as one of the best Hong Kong goalkeepers in the 1980s. He holds an AFC A license and the goalkeeper coach qualification. Club career In his player career, he played for Happy Valley, Caroline Hill, Sea Bee, Eastern, Harps, Seiko, May Ching, Lai Sun and Sing Tao. Managerial career He retired in the early 1990s and became a coach. He was the coach of Hong Kong 09, Yau Tsim Mong and Citizen. He started at Citizen as a goalkeeper coach, and in 2006 he became the head coach of the team. In 2007-08 season, he led the team to finish second in Hong Kong First Division and captured the champion of Hong Kong FA Cup, the first major trophy won by the team ever. With this outstanding result, he was awarded the Best Coach Award of the season. The Hong Kong national football team () represents Hong Kong in international association football, football and is controlled by the Hong Kong Football Association, the governing body for football in Hong Kong. Hong Kong was the first in Asia to hold the AFC Asian Cup in 1956 and won third place, and was also semi-finalist in 1964. 2009–10 Hong Kong First Division League
The 2009–10 Hong Kong Football Association First Division League (known as HKFA bma First Division League for sponsorship reasons) was the 98th top tier football league of Hong Kong. Because of the renovation of Mong Kok Stadium which will last for two league seasons, the current First Division League has allocated eight stadia for the eleven participating teams to play their home games. The inaugural match was held between South China and Tai Chung on 6 September 2009. It was the first time since 1987–88 season that the inaugural match was not played between the former season champion and runner-up. Hong Kong Football Association disqualified Tuen Mun Progoal on 27 November 2009 due to Tuen Mun Progoal defaulting on labour insurance. The title was won by South China, their fourth title in a row. The 2008–09 Hong Kong First Division League season, known as Coolpoint Ventilation First Division () for sponsorship reasons, was the 97th since its establishment in 1908. It began on 6 September 2008 and ended on 10 May 2009. The unveiling match was contested by the defending champions South China, and the runners-up of last season Citizen. They made a 1–1 draw, scored by Sandro of Citizen and Detinho of South China, China. Three new teams joined the league as competition members, including Fourway, TSW Pegasus and Xiangxue Eisiti.
