Little Mecatina River
The Little Mécatina River (french: Rivière du Petit Mécatina) is a major river in the Côte-Nord region of the provinces of Labrador and Quebec, Canada. Studies have been made to exploit the hydroelectric potential of the river, which could be around 1,200 MW from three dams. The Little Mécatina River was driven first with kayaks by Rolf Theiß and Fritz Gottensrtöter from Guetersloh, Germany ( 13.8.- 6.9.1973 ). It originates to the east of Lake Aticonac near the border between the Atlantic and Saint Lawrence Basins. Le Golfe-du-Saint-Laurent is a regional county municipality in the Côte-Nord region of far-eastern Quebec, Canada. It includes all communities along the Gulf of Saint Lawrence between the Natashquan River and the Newfoundland and Labrador border. François Legault
François Legault (; born May 26, 1957) is a Canadian politician serving as the 32nd premier of Quebec since 2018. La Romaine, Quebec
La Romaine, also known as Unamenshipit in Innu-aimun, is an Innu First Nations reserve in the Côte-Nord region of Quebec, Canada, at the mouth of the Olomane River on the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. It belongs to the Innu band of Unamen Shipu. Being an enclave within the Municipality of Côte-Nord-du-Golfe-du-Saint-Laurent, it is geographically within Le Golfe-du-Saint-Laurent Regional County Municipality but administratively not part of it. Directly adjacent to the reserve is the community of La Romaine consisting of a small French-speaking population. La Romaine is only accessible by boat or via the La Romaine Airport. John James "Jean" Charest (; born June 24, 1958) is a Canadian lawyer and former politician who served as the 29th premier of Quebec from 2003 to 2012 and the fifth deputy prime minister of Canada in 1993. Charest was elected to the House of Commons in 1984 and would serve in several federal cabinet positions between 1986 and 1993. He became the leader of the Progressive Conservative (PC) Party in 1993 and remained in the role until he entered provincial politics in 1998. Romaine River
The Romaine River is a river in the Côte-Nord region of the Canadian province of Quebec. It is long. It is not to be confused with the Olomane River that is to the east and had the same name for a long time. It flows south into the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. Location The Romaine River is about long, none of which is in Labrador since the east bank of the river forms the border between Quebec and Labrador. The river has a Strahler number of 7. The Magpie River (french: Rivière Magpie, cr, Moteskikan Hipu, Mutehekau Hipu, Pmotewsekaw Sipo) is a river in the Côte-Nord region of Quebec which flows from the Labrador Plateau to empty into the north shore of the Saint Lawrence River east of Sept-Îles, Quebec. The Bouleau River (french: Rivière au Bouleau: Birch River) is a salmon river in the Côte-Nord region of Quebec, Canada. It drains an area of the Canadian Shield plateau into the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. The terrain includes large areas of bare rocks, as well as forests dominated by black spruce and balsam fir.
