''Little Magnets Versus the Bubble of Babble'' is the third and final album by UK pop rock band Transvision Vamp. The album was released in 1991, two years after their UK No. 1 album ''Velveteen''. This album did not get a UK release at the time due to disputes with their label. ''Little Magnets Versus the Bubble of Babble'' took on a more mellow sound, which was the reason that their record company at one stage refused to release it – it was eventually released in the US but not in the UK at the time. It was, however, released in Australia, where the band had enjoyed considerable success. The album peaked at No. 25 on the Australian Albums Chart. It was released in New Zealand where it reached No.14, and also released in Sweden, reaching No.27. Transvision Vamp
Transvision Vamp were an English pop rock band. Formed in 1986 by Nick Christian Sayer and Wendy James, the band enjoyed chart success in the late 1980s, particularly in 1989. James, the lead singer and focal-point of the group, attracted media attention with her sexually charged and rebellious image. They scored 10 UK chart hits and also enjoyed considerable success in Australia. Their top single was 1989's "Baby I Don't Care", which reached number three on the UK and Australian charts. Career The band's original line-up was James, Sayer, Dave Parsons (bass), Tex Axile (keyboards) and Pol Burton (drums). Parsons and Axile had both been in punk bands prior to joining the band; Parsons in The Partisans, and Axile in various bands, most notably The Moors Murderers and X-Ray Spex offshoot Agent Orange. Alan Moulder (born 11 June 1959) is an English record producer, mixing engineer, and audio engineer. Early life Moulder was born on 11 June 1959 in Boston, Lincolnshire. He was educated at Boston Grammar School. He had an interest in music from an early age, listing Cream and The Beatles among his favourite artists. The first album he bought was ''Electric Warrior'' by T. Rex, and he was impressed by the quality of the recording. He joined his first band as a teenager and recorded a demo in a local studio; it was there that he realised that it had been the production that he had so enjoyed on ''Electric Warrior'', and discovered that he was more interested in music engineering than performing. Jody Linscott
Jody Linscott is an American session musician and percussionist who resides in England and maintains an extended discography. She has two daughters Kachina Dechert and Coco Linscott and has written two children's books which were published by Doubleday, both edited by Jackie Onassis. Linscott has written several songs to accompany the books. Early days Jody Linscott was born in the United States, but went to England on a holiday in 1971 and never returned. While studying to be a bookbinder she repaired items, and once repaired a conga drum that the owner never returned to claim. Anthony Doughty
Anthony (Tex) Doughty (born 28 July 1958 in Crawley, Sussex, England) is an English rock musician. He was a member of a number of punk bands in the late 1970s, including Peroxide Romance, The Outpatients and The Moors Murderers. In 1986, he and Dave Parsons joined fellow musicians Wendy James and Nick Sayer to form Transvision Vamp in which he adopted the pseudonym Tex Axile (a pun on tax exile). After they split up, Doughty joined a band called Max with Matthew Ashman, Kevin Mooney, John Reynolds and John Keogh in which he played keyboards. They released a Trevor Horn produced album, ''Silence Running'' in 1992. Keogh died soon after the release, and Ashman followed a couple of years later. David Guy Parsons (born 1964) is a British rock musician who is best known as the original bassist for English grunge band Bush. Life and career Before joining the grunge band Bush, was a member of punk band The Partisans, and alternative rock band Transvision Vamp. Parsons met up in 1992 with lead singer and guitarist, Gavin Rossdale, guitarist Nigel Pulsford, and bassist Robin Goodridge to form Bush. He stayed with the band until their breakup in 2002. "Can You Please Crawl Out Your Window?" is a folk rock song written by American musician Bob Dylan. In 1965, Columbia Records released it as a single, which reached number 58 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart, and number 17 on the UK chart in January 1966. While Dylan never included the song on any of his studio albums, it appears on compilations, such as ''Biograph'' and ''Side Tracks''. Recording The official single version, with the Hawks, is generally considered to have been recorded on November 30, 1965, although at least one Dylan scholar contends that the recording date was October 5. The album includes the single "Baby I Don't Care", which reached number 3 in the United Kingdom and Australia. ''Velveteen'' reached number 1 on the UK Albums Chart and number 2 in Australia, where it became the 39th best-selling album of the year.
