Its capital is Bata; the other two cities are Mbini and Kogo. Litoral's western border is the Gulf of Guinea coast. It is the only coastal province of Río Muni. Cogo (also known as Kogo or Koszho, formerly Puerto Iradier) is a remote town on the Muni River, Muni estuary in Río Muni, Equatorial Guinea, lying east of Acalayong.
