Lito Tangonan
Ang Iglesia Metodista sa Pilipinas (Tagalog language, Tagalog for The Methodist Church in the Philippines, also known as AIM Pilipinas) is an indigenous autonomous Methodist church in the Philippines. The founders of the church, led by Presiding Bishop Rev. Lito Tangonan officially registered on December 7, 2011 the congregation with the Government of the Philippines, Philippine Government through the Securities and Exchange Commission (Philippines), Securities and Exchange Commission. The group adopted the methods of John Wesley as the father of Methodism. Like the rest of Methodists in the world, it is a Trinitarian, apostolic and mission church which adheres to the deity of Jesus Christ. Independent (religion)
In Welsh and English church history, Independents advocated local congregational control of religious and church matters, without any wider geographical hierarchy, either ecclesiastical or political. They were particularly prominent during the Wars of the Three Kingdoms as well under the Commonwealth and Protectorate. The New Model Army became the champion of Independent religious views and its members helped carry out Pride's Purge in December 1648. Unlike their Presbyterian allies, Independents rejected any state role in religious practice, including the Church of England, and advocated freedom of religion for most non-Catholics.
