Cindy Morgan (singer)
Cindy Lavonne Morgan (born June 4, 1968) is a contemporary Christian music singer and songwriter. Morgan's 1992 debut album, ''Real Life'', earned her six Dove Award nominations. Her follow-up, '' A Reason to Live'', garnered her another Dove Award nomination. Overall she has earned 13 Dove Awards. Morgan, using her married name, is also one half of the duo St. Lola in the Fields with Jeremy Bose. They released ''High Atop the Houses and the Towns'' on October 5, 2010 via Nettwerk. In late 2012, Morgan joined forces with singer/songwriter Andrew Greer for Food for the Hungry's "Hymns for Hunger" Tour, helping raise awareness and resources for local and international hunger relief organizations at tour stops across the country. Gordon Kennedy (musician)
Gordon Scott Kennedy is an American songwriter, musician, and record producer based in Nashville, Tennessee whose most successful composition is the international hit song "Change the World", recorded by Eric Clapton, for which Kennedy and his co-writers received a Grammy Award for Song of the Year (1996). Kennedy also received a Grammy for Best Pop Instrumental Album (2007), co-producing, composing and performing on Peter Frampton's ''Fingerprints'' album. He was a member of the Christian rock band White Heart for six years in the 1980s. Kennedy has written 15 songs recorded by Garth Brooks, and has done projects with Frampton and Ricky Skaggs. Clay Crosse (born Walter Clayton Crossnoe, February 11, 1967) is a contemporary Christian music artist. He has won four GMA Dove Awards, and is probably best known for the single "I Surrender All." The Nashville String Machine
Nashville String Machine is a musical collective comprising session musicians, based in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. Members of the group have been credited on records dating from 1972 to the present, although the group was formally formed as "The Nashville String Machine" in 1981. The group was formed by violinist and concertmaster Carl J. Gorodetzky (born 1936/7 in Pennsylvania) and his wife (also violinist) Carol W. Gorodetzky (b. 1937 in Pennsylvania). They oversee the contracting of arrangers, players and studio support as needed; their available supply of potential orchestra members maximizes at 80. Clarinet
The clarinet is a musical instrument in the woodwind family. The instrument has a nearly cylindrical bore and a flared bell, and uses a single reed to produce sound. Clarinets comprise a family of instruments of differing sizes and pitches. Aaron "The A-Train" Smith (born September 3, 1950) is a Nashville-based drummer and percussionist who has played as a member of multiple bands, and as a studio musician, starting in 1970. Smith played drums on several hit Motown recordings in the 1970s, including The Temptations' "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone". In the 1980s, he was a member of the new wave band Romeo Void and the Christian alternative rock band the 77s. Background With a singular focus, Aaron Smith began his career playing drums in marching band during the sixth grade practicing on the cafeteria tables since there were so many kids wanting to play that instrument. Brent Milligan is an American record producer and session bass guitar player currently residing in Nashville, Tennessee. Banjo
The banjo is a stringed instrument with a thin membrane stretched over a frame or cavity to form a resonator. Contemporary Christian music, also known as CCM, Christian pop, and occasionally inspirational music is a genre of modern popular music, and an aspect of Christian media, which is lyrically focused on matters related to the Christian faith and stylistically rooted in Christian music. Drew and Shannon is an American record producer and songwriting duo, from Nashville, Tennessee, United States. Collaboration Drew Ramsey and Shannon Sanders met while both were on the Contemporary Christian music circuit. Finding common interest in R&B they began to write together. Shannon plays trumpet and keyboard, while Drew plays bass and guitar. They have been working together for over 15 years and both live in Nashville, Tennessee, US. Career Ramsey and Sanders began writing and working together and ended up creating Sanders' album "Outta Nowhere."
