This is a list of women's Test cricket records; that is, record team and individual performances in women's Test cricket. Records for the short form of women's international cricket, One Day Internationals, are at List of women's One Day International cricket records. Cricket is, by its nature, capable of generating large numbers of records and statistics. Women's Test cricket has been played since 1934–35 with essentially the same rules as are played today, and therefore many comparisons can be made of teams and individuals through these records. Listing criteria In general the top five are listed in each category (except when there is a tie for the last place among the five, when all the tied record holders are noted). English Women's Cricket Team In Australia And New Zealand In 1991–92
The England women's cricket team toured Australia and New Zealand in January and February 1992. England played three Women's test cricket, Test matches against New Zealand women's national cricket team, New Zealand, one Test match against Australia women's national cricket team, Australia, and against both sides in a Women's One Day International, ODI 1991–92 Shell Tri-Series, tri-series. The Test match against Australia was played for the Women's Ashes, which Australia won, therefore retaining the Ashes. Australia also won the tri-series, on virtue of winning the group stage after the Final against England ended in a no result, whilst England beat New Zealand in their test series 1–0. St Lawrence Ground
The St Lawrence Ground is a cricket ground in Canterbury, Kent. It is the home ground of Kent County Cricket Club and since 2013 has been known as The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, due to commercial sponsorship. It is one of the oldest grounds on which first-class cricket is played, having been in use since 1847, and is the venue for Canterbury Cricket Week, the oldest cricket festival in the world. It is one of the two grounds used regularly for first-class cricket that have had a tree, the St Lawrence Lime, within the boundary. Capacity at the ground was increased to 15,000 in 2000, and four One Day International matches have been played there, one each in 1999 (part of the 1999 Cricket World Cup), 2000, 2003 and 2005. Eden Park
Eden Park is New Zealand's largest sports stadium, with a capacity of 50,000. Located in central Auckland, New Zealand's largest city, it is three kilometres southwest of the CBD, on the boundary between the suburbs of Mount Eden and Kingsland. It opened in 1900. The south stand was rebuilt for the 2011 Rugby World Cup. The stadium is used primarily for rugby union in winter and cricket in summer, and it has hosted rugby league and association football matches. It is owned by Eden Park Trust Board, whose headquarters are located in the stadium. Eden Park is considered one of rugby union's most difficult assignments for visiting sides.
