List Of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Of The People's Republic Of China
This is a list of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs, or 'drones'), of China. There are further categories and sub-categories following the main, comprehensive list, and some of the UAVs appear in more than one category/ sub-category when they can be classified by more than one. As late of 2010, there are more than a hundred UAV developers/manufacturers currently in China. By 2014, that number is increased to over two hundred thirty UAV developers / manufacturers in China, with over two-thirds of them are private enterprises (PE), and the remaining are government-owned enterprises. Most of the government-owned enterprises are fully capable of indigenously completing the entire development of UAVs of various sizes, from the initial design at the very beginning, all the way to the final completion of UAVs of various sizes, ranging from the smallest micro air vehicle (MAV)s to the largest UAVs. In contrast, most private enterprises lack such capability because they are assemblers purch ...

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), commonly known as a drone, is an aircraft without any human pilot, crew, or passengers on board. UAVs are a component of an unmanned aircraft system (UAS), which includes adding a ground-based controller and a system of communications with the UAV. The flight of UAVs may operate under remote control by a human operator, as remotely-piloted aircraft (RPA), or with various degrees of autonomy, such as autopilot assistance, up to fully autonomous aircraft that have no provision for human intervention. UAVs were originally developed through the twentieth century for military missions too "dull, dirty or dangerous" for humans, and by the twenty-first, they had become essential assets to most militaries. As control technologies improved and costs fell, their use expanded to many non-military applications.Hu, J.; Bhowmick, P.; Jang, I.; Arvin, F.; Lanzon, A.,A Decentralized Cluster Formation Containment Framework for Multirobot Systems IEEE Tr ...

CASIC HW-600 Series UAV
CASIC HW-600 series unmanned aerial vehicles are Chinese UAVs developed by 3rd Academy Hiwing (or HW for short, 海鹰in Chinese) of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC), and this academy is also more commonly known as HiWING Mechanical and Electrical Technology Corp, (海鹰机电技术研究院, the exact literal translation of its Chinese name is actually Sea Eagle Mechanical and Electrical Technology Research Academy) or HiWING for short. HW-600 Sky Hawk (WJ-600) HW-600 Sky Hawk (Tian-Yi or Tianying, 天鹰), this HiWING developed UAV is a jet-powered UCAV. The turbojet powered HW-600 Sky Hawk has a conventional layout with high-wing configuration and small winglets. The engine is in the aft section of the cylindrical fuselage, and the inlet is atop of the fuselage at the root of the single vertical tail fin. There is a single hardpoint under each wing, which is designed to carry a variety of Chinese UAV employed missiles and other munitions. Sensors are pr ...

Guizhou WZ-7 Soaring Dragon
The Guizhou WZ-7 Soaring Dragon () is a high-altitude long endurance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) from the People's Republic of China. The design uses a unique joined-wing design. The primary mission is expected to be aerial reconnaissance, but it may also be fitted to provide targeting data for anti-ship ballistic missiles and cruise missiles. Development The WZ-7 was designed by the Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group and constructed by the Guizhou Aircraft Industry Corporation. A model appeared at the 2006 China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition. The first flight has not occurred as of 2011. The drone conducted radar cross-section testing. The WZ-7 entered serial production in 2015 to 2016. A complete redesign of WZ-7 was observed in 2020 with the Chinese Air Force roundel. The redesign featured V-tails, a different engine nozzle with the WS-13 turbofan engine, and changes to the ventral fin and the sail structure. The WZ-7 UAV was officially unveiled by the military ...
