Danatar Ovezov
Dangatar Ovezov ( tk, Daňatar Öwezow; rus, links=no, Дангатар Овезов; 1 January 1911 – 5 May 1966), also known as Danatar Ovezov ( tk, Danatar Öwezow; rus, links=no, Данатар Овезов), was a Turkmen composer. Biography Childhood and early career Ovezov was born on 1 January 1911 in Mülkýusup village, Mary province. Following the death of his father, despite showing early promise as a musician, he spent his early years herding livestock for a local landowner. In 1923 he and two sisters were moved to the orphanage in Mary, where he began formal studies. In 1925 Ovezov was sent to the Turkmen Educational College in Tashkent, where he began studying and composing music, and where he learned to play the trumpet. "Turkmen March" orchestrated for wind instruments was his first composition, completed in 1930. After graduating in 1930, Ovezov worked in various positions in Tashkent, Ashgabat, and Krasnovodsk. International Turkmen-Turkish University
International Turkmen-Turkish University ( tk, Halkara Türkmen-Türk uniwersiteti; tr, Uluslararası Türkmen-Türk Üniversitesi; abbreviated as ITTU) was a university located in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. The University was established in 1994 and closed in 2016, superseded by the Oguzhan University of Engineering Technologies. Turkmen State Border Service Institute
Turkmen State Border Service Institute () is an educational institution that specializes in the training of personnel of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen Border Troops. The institute is one of many Turkmen military academies based in Ashgabat. History In August 2004, President Saparmurat Niyazov announced that personnel of the Ministry for National Security and the Border Service would be trained in the same compound, authorizing the KNB to conclude a $20 million contract with the Turkish firm GAP Insaat for the construction of an educational compound next to the Military Institute in Ashgabat.
