Diyarbakır
Diyarbakır (; ; ; ) is the largest Kurdish-majority city in Turkey. It is the administrative center of Diyarbakır Province. Situated around a high plateau by the banks of the Tigris river on which stands the historic Diyarbakır Fortress, it is the administrative capital of the Diyarbakır Province of southeastern Turkey. Çorlu () is a northwestern Turkish city in inland Eastern Thrace that falls under the administration of the Province of Tekirdağ. It is a rapidly growing industrial centre built on flatland located on the motorway Otoyol 3 and off the highway D.100 between Istanbul and Turkey's border with Greece and Bulgaria. Çorlu Train Derailment
The Çorlu train derailment was a fatal railway accident which occurred in 2018 at the Çorlu district of Tekirdağ Province in northwestern Turkey when a train derailed, killing 24 passengers and injuring 318, including 42 severely. Accident At 17:15 Turkish time on July 8, 2018, five bogies of the six-car train of Uzunköprü-Halkalı Regional operating with train number 12703 on the Istanbul-Pythio railway en route to Halkalı Terminal in Istanbul derailed at near Sarılar village of Çorlu, Tekirdağ. Of the 362 passengers and six crew on board, 24 were killed and 318 injured. 276 lightly injured passengers were discharged from the hospitals after receiving treatment, while medical care for the 42 severely injured victims continues in hospitals in Tekirdağ, Çorlu and Istanbul. Bilecik Train Collision
The Bilecik train collision happened on 3 January 2010, when two passenger trains collided in Bilecik, Turkey. One person was killed and seven people were injured. The Kütahya train derailment was a fatal railway accident, which occurred in 2008 near Çöğürler village of Kütahya in western Turkey, when an express train derailed, killing 9 and injuring 30 passengers. Accident The Pamukkale Express, train number 71322, departed from Haydarpaşa railway station in Istanbul for Denizli with 298 people on board at 17:35 local time (15:35 UTC) on 26 January 2008.
