Palacio Insular de Tenerife (English: ''Insular Palace of Tenerife'') is a building in the Spanish city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, home of the Cabildo de Tenerife. Designed by the architect José Enrique Marrero Regalado, and executed between 1935 and 1940, it is located in the Plaza de España. The Arrecife Gran Hotel & Spa better known as Gran Hotel, is a skyscraper in the city of Arrecife ( Canary Islands, Spain). It is the tallest building on the island of Lanzarote at 54 meters tall and 15 floors (above ground). Completed in 1974, it is located at the end of Maritime Avenue of Arrecife by the sea and ''Playa de El Reducto''. The building functions as a 5-star hotel and its height also makes it the tallest building in the Canary Islands outside of Tenerife and Gran Canaria. In November 1994, the building suffered a fire which caused no fatalities because it was empty. The fire originated at 6 pm on the ground floor of the building and quickly spread to the upper floors. Although the structure of the building was not damaged, some time later the façade was restored and modernized with a steel and glass roof. Woermann Tower also Torre Woermann is a mixed-use tower in Las Palmas on Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain. Completed in 2005, the tower was designed by Abalos & Herreros in collaboration with Joaquin Casariego and Elsa Guerra, and built by Ferrovial Inmobiliaria, the company also built around the same time one of the two Torres de Santa Cruz, in the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The Torres de Santa Cruz is a residential complex composed of the twin towers located in the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife ( Canary Islands, Spain). They were designed by Canarian architect Julian Valladares, and were built in the period 2004–2006. The towers are tall, without the antenna, becoming the tallest skyscraper in the Canary Islands, and the tallest residential building in Spain until 2010 (currently occupies third place in the latter category). The Torres de Santa Cruz are also the tallest twin towers in Spain.
