American rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars has recorded material for five studio albums. The band was formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1998 by brothers Jared and Shannon Leto. The duo later expanded to a four-piece when they added guitarist Solon Bixler and bassist Matt Wachter to the line-up. After signing a contract with record label Immortal Records in 1998, the band began to work with producers Bob Ezrin and Brian Virtue on their debut album, ''30 Seconds to Mars'', which was released in August 2002. Thirty Seconds to Mars (commonly stylized as 30 Seconds to Mars) is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1998. Tomo Miličević
Tomislav "Tomo" Miličević (; born September 3, 1979) is a Bosnian-American musician and record producer. He was the lead guitarist of the rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars from 2003 to 2018. Born in Sarajevo but raised in the United States, Miličević moved to Troy, Michigan in the early 1980s, where he became active in the local heavy metal scene and played in a number of bands, co-founding Morphic. In 2003, he joined Thirty Seconds to Mars, with whom he achieved worldwide recognition in the mid-2000s after recording the band's second album ''A Beautiful Lie'' (2005). Timothy Kelleher (born October 4, 1980) is an American musician best known for touring with the American rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars from 2007 to 2011, and most recently was a member of the American rock band Filter from 2013 to 2015. He was one of the founding members of My Darling Murder, a metal band formed with friends Andy Gerold and Elias Mallin. "From Yesterday" is a song by American rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars, and the third single released from their second album ''A Beautiful Lie''. The song impacted radio on October 17, 2006. The music video for the song is believed to be the first ever American music video shot in the People's Republic of China in its entirety. The music video is also the last video by the band to feature bass player Matt Wachter. The song won the Kerrang! Award for Best Single.
