Skye Sweetnam
Skye Alexandra Sweetnam (born May 5, 1988) is a Canadian singer, actress, and music video director. She first entered the music industry in 2003 with the release of her debut single " Billy S." More than a year later, her debut studio album, ''Noise from the Basement'', was released along with the singles " Tangled Up in Me" and "Number One". Sweetnam is also known for her voice work in ''The Barbie Diaries''. In 2006, she was nominated for a Juno Award for New Artist of the Year. Her second studio album, '' Sound Soldier'', was released in 2007. She is currently the lead singer of the band Sumo Cyco; upon joining the band, she took the stage name Sever. Early life Skye was born on May 5, 1988, to Deirdre and Greg Sweetnam. She was named after the Isle of Skye in Scotland. Along with her sister, Aurora, and her brother, Cam, she was born and raised in Bolton, a community in Caledon, Ontario, where she studied dancing and singing from a young age. ''Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll'' is a platform video game developed and published by Sega for the Wii. It was released in February 2010 worldwide. Gameplay and development Like the previous games in the ''Super Monkey Ball'' series, players must guide the ball using the Wii Remote to the goal in one minute without losing a life. Players are given four lives to begin with. There are six worlds, with the addition of one secret world which can be accessed by completing the other six worlds. Players can use the Wii Balance Board and shift their bodies to control the monkey ball. The new control scheme was an effort by developer Yasuhito Baba "to find a new way for players to experience ''Super Monkey Ball'' in order to increase the 'party feel' of the title". The teen slice-of-life comedy follows Birch Small, a manga and anime fan with aspirations of being a comic artist, as she tries to survive junior high school. The show features manga symbols such as sweatdrops, speech bubbles, and super-deformed chibi characters. The series first aired on the French-language Télétoon on September 19, 2010. It was shown on the English-language channel Teletoon from September 5, 2011 to September 30, 2011.
