This section of the list of rampage killers contains those mass murders where the perpetrators predominantly targeted their (former) co-workers. A rampage killer has been defined as follows: This list arbitrarily limits the scope of the subject to workplace rampage killings that meet the following criteria: #6 or more dead #at least 4 people killed and least 10 victims overall (dead plus injured) #at least 2 people killed and least 12 victims overall (dead plus injured) In all cases, the perpetrator(s) shall not be counted among those killed or injured. ''The Register-Guard'' is a daily newspaper in the northwestern United States, published in Eugene, Oregon. It was formed in a 1930 merger of two Eugene papers, the ''Eugene Daily Guard'' and the ''Morning Register''. Standard Gravure Shooting
The Standard Gravure shooting occurred on September 14, 1989, in Louisville, Kentucky, when Joseph T. Wesbecker, a 47-year-old pressman, killed eight people and injured twelve at his former workplace, Standard Gravure, before committing suicide. The shooting is the deadliest mass shooting in Kentucky's history. The murders resulted in a high-profile lawsuit against Eli Lilly and Company, manufacturers of the antidepressant drug Prozac, which Wesbecker had begun taking during the month prior to his shooting rampage. Background Standard Gravure was a prominent printing company founded in 1922 by Barry Bingham Sr. Reduced revenues led to an employee wage freeze in 1982, and in 1986 the Bingham family sold the company. Kalibo, officially the Municipality of Kalibo ( Aklanon: ''Banwa it Kalibo''; Hiligaynon: ''Banwa sang Kalibo''; tgl, Bayan ng Kalibo), is a 1st class municipality and capital of the Province of Aklan, Philippines. 2021 San Jose Shooting
On May 26, 2021, a mass shooting occurred at a Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) rail yard in San Jose, California, United States. A gunman killed nine people and then committed suicide, for a total of ten deaths. The gunman was 57-year-old VTA employee Samuel James Cassidy. It is the deadliest mass shooting in the history of the San Francisco Bay Area. As a result of the shooting, service throughout the VTA light rail system was suspended for months.
