Chihuahua (), officially the Free and Sovereign State of Chihuahua ( es, Estado Libre y Soberano de Chihuahua), is one of the 31 states which, along with Mexico City, comprise the 32 federal entities of Mexico. It is located in northwestern Mexico, and is bordered by the states of Sonora to the west, Sinaloa to the southwest, Durango to the south, and Coahuila to the east. XHHES-FM is a radio station in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico. Broadcasting on 94.1 FM, XHHES is owned by Radiorama and operated by Grupo Bustillos Radio as La Patrona with a Regional Mexican format. History XHHES began operations in 1987 as XEHES-AM 1040. In the 1990s and early 2000s, the station broadcast Christian programming as Radio Luz. In 2004, it became Éxtasis Digital, an English-language adult contemporary music format previously on XHDI-FM 88.5. In 2007, Éxtasis Digital moved to XEFO-AM 680, and 1040 AM became Radiorama Siglo XXI, a news/talk format. XEHES received approval to migrate to FM in 2011. Radio Fórmula is a Mexican talk radio network. Founded in 1968, Radio Fórmula programs are broadcast on more than 100 stations in Mexico as well as several stations in the United States. It is the flagship product of Grupo Fórmula, which also owns the TeleFórmula cable news network and PM Onstreet, an outdoor advertising firm. History Grupo Formula traces its beginnings to 1968, when several Mexico City stations were split from Emilio Azcárraga Vidaurreta’s Radiópolis system. Among these was XEDF-AM 970. By 1984, Radio Fórmula operated five Mexico City stations: 970 AM, 1470 AM, 1500 AM, 103.3 FM and 104.1 FM. Grupo Imagen is a Mexican media conglomerate, part of Grupo Empresarial Ángeles. History Grupo Imagen traces its roots to the foundation of XEDA-AM in June 1936. This station was acquired by José Luis Fernández Soto in 1962, and in the same year, Fernández Soto founded "Grupo Imagen Comunicación en Radio", which became the operator of XEDA-AM and XEDA-FM. In 1963, Grupo Imagen doubled in size with the acquisition of Radio Metropolitana and its XELA- AM- FM cluster. With these four stations, Grupo Imagen began to form a wide range of programming.
