Public radio signal of RTSH Radio Tirana 1 covers 80.5% of the territory, while those of Top Albania Radio and Club FM, both commercial radio stations with a national license, cover 93.7%, and the western lowland respectively. In 2020, the third private national frequency license was awarded to Radio Klan, part of Televizioni Klan sh.a. There are some ongoing initiatives to measure audience shares in the country, but they are limited in geographical scope and the results are not public. Televizioni Klan, also known as TV Klan, is an Albanian private television channel with national coverage, based in Tirana, Albania. Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (; en, "Albanian Radio and Television"; mostly called RTSH ) is an Albanian public broadcasting radio and television company. Founded in 1938, it operates several radio and television channels, over a domestic transmitter network as well as satellite. The international television service via satellite RTSH Sat (former ''TVSH Sat'') was launched in 1993 and is aimed at Albanian-speaking communities in Kosovo, Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and northern Greece, plus the Albanian diaspora in the rest of Europe. Club FM (100.4 FM) is a national radio station based in Tirana, Albania which focuses on new releases and current music hits. It first went on air in February 1998 by broadcasting gold music, but soon turned to a pop format. Radio One (formerly Eagle Radio/Radio Be-94) is a radio station based in Tirana, Albania. Radio One began broadcasting in 2007 and was founded by Gjergj Poci, Andi Alimema and Dorian Poci. It is a commercial free station promoting electronic and alternative music and artists.
