Protected Area
Protected areas or conservation areas are locations which receive protection because of their recognized natural, ecological or cultural values. There are several kinds of protected areas, which vary by level of protection depending on the enabling laws of each country or the regulations of the international organizations involved. Generally speaking though, protected areas are understood to be those in which human presence or at least the exploitation of natural resources (e.g. firewood, non-timber forest products, water, ...) is limited. The term "protected area" also includes marine protected areas, the boundaries of which will include some area of ocean, and transboundary protected areas that overlap multiple countries which remove the borders inside the area for conservation and economic purposes. Khlong Lan National Park
Khlong Lan National Park (Thai อุทยานแห่งชาติคลองลาน) is a national park in Thailand. Description Khlong Lan National Park is situated in the Dawna Mountain Range. This park lies in Khlong Lan and Mueang Kamphaeng Phet districts of Kamphaeng Phet Province, the Lower north of Thailand and occupies 187,500 rai ~ . The park is rugged and hilly along the Dawna Range, and is covered by fertile forest. Each mountain connects to Khun Khlong Lan, the highest peak at above sea level. It's the origin of Khlong Khlung and Khlong Suan Mak, the tributaries of the Ping River. The famous places in the park are Khlong Lan and Khlong Nam Lai Waterfalls. The band's name is an acronym for "Multi-sensory Aesthetic Experience", based on a course taken by drummer Jacob Marshall while a student at Old Dominion University. Mae Charim National Park
Mae Charim National Park ( th, อุทยานแห่งชาติแม่จริม), also known as Mae Jarim, is a protected area in the Luang Prabang Range, Nan Province, Northern Thailand. The Wa River, a popular river for white water rafting between July and December, flows through the park area. The park was established on 6 July 2007 with an area of 270,000 rai ~ . Mae Charim National Park is part of the Luang Prabang montane rain forests ecoregion. 1,652 m high Doi Khun Lan is the highest peak within the park perimeter. There are said to be yetis in the area. The national park covers an area of and was established in 1998, it is home to rugged mountains and the reservoir of the Sirikit Dam. Khun Nan National Park
Khun Nan National Park ( th, อุทยานแห่งชาติขุนน่าน) is a protected area in the western side of the Luang Prabang Range in the Thai/ Lao border area, on the Thai side of the ridge. It is named after Khun Nan subdistrict (tambon) of Chaloem Phra Kiat District of Nan Province and includes parts located in Bo Kluea District. The park is located north of the Doi Phu Kha National Park and was established in 2009 with an area of 153,982 rai ~ . Khun Nan National Park is part of the Luang Prabang montane rain forests ecoregion. Sapan Waterfall, located near the Lao border, is the most important waterfall in the park; Huai Ha waterfall has water throughout the year.
