UNTV (Philippines)
UNTV, formally known as UNTV News and Rescue and UNTV Public Service, is the flagship Philippine television network of the Progressive Broadcasting Corporation (known on air as UNTV-PBC), together with Breakthrough and Milestones Productions International (known on air as UNTV-BMPI), the network's content provider and marketing arm, and Christian religious organization Members Church of God International (MCGI), its major blocktimer. DWAO-TV is one of very few NTSC-System M stations in the world that broadcast on Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Channel 37. ''Ang Dating Daan'' (English: The Old Path, Portuguese: ''O Caminho Antigo'', Spanish: ''El Camino Antiguo'') is a religious radio and television program produced by the Members Church of God International. It is primarily hosted by Brother Eli Soriano that began in the last quarter of 1980. It has been recognized as one of the longest-running religious television programs in the World. The name of the program is based on Jeremiah 6:16 of the Bible. While mainly broadcasting in Tagalog (Filipino), some English language elements were added for foreign viewers, including " Truth in Focus", "Biblically Speaking", "How Authentic the Bible is", and "Bible Guide". It also features the use of multi-lingual and multi-dialectic translations of the Bible. ''Tapatan with Jay Sonza: Bayan, Ikaw ang Humatol'' () is a Philippine television public affairs debate show broadcast by GMA Network. Hosted by Jay Sonza, it premiered on May 17, 1995. ''Strangebrew'' is a reality situational comedy television show in the Philippines which formerly aired on UNTV, PTV and Studio 23 from 2001 to 2003. History and concept ''Strangebrew'' was launched in early summer of 2001 on UNTV. It was hosted by Arvin "Tado" Jimenez, and Angel "Erning" Rivero. The show was directed by R.A. Rivera. ''Kilos Pronto'' (''Front Act'') was a public service program patterned after the demise of '' T3'' hosted by the Tulfo Brothers on TV5 on April 30, 2016. ''Bread N' Butter'' is a Filipino business and travel show produced by DSR Multimedia Productions that aired on UNTV. The program described itself as a show "that would inspire Filipinos to discover their entrepreneurial sense". ''Bitag'' () is an investigative and public service program hosted by Ben Tulfo and produced by Bitag Media Unlimited Inc. (formerly BST Tri-Media Production) that airs in the Philippines. Launched on September 14, 2002, it first aired on ABC (now TV5) before moving the following year to IBC before returning again to TV5, before moving in 2012 to syndication on the government-owned PTV. It was aired on IBC every Saturday night from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM. ASOP Music Festival
The ASOP (A Song of Praise) Music Festival is an annual music festival held in Metro Manila, Philippines. Basically a songwriting competition, it is the only gospel music television program in the country. An original concept of Bro. Eli Soriano and Daniel Razon aiming to bring back praise songs to the public, it started in 2004 as a music competition inside the Members Church of God International but was later opened to the general public in 2011. The music festival also discourages rap and metal music entries. The program airs weekly on UNTV every Sunday night holding weekly and monthly eliminations.
