Chief Ibiagbanidokibubo Asenite 'Agbani' Darego, MFR (born 22 December 1982) is a Nigerian model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss World in 2001. She was the first black African to win Miss World. Early life Abonnema-native Darego was born in Lagos to a family as the sixth of eight children. Nimi Dimkpa Briggs (born 22 February 1944) is a Nigerian academic, scholar and Emeritus Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Izu Azuka (born 24 May 1989) is a Nigerian football player who is currently playing for Fasil Kenema S.C. in Ethiopian Premier League.
