Jamie Blanks
Jamie Blanks (born 29 November 1971) is an Australian film director and composer. He directed the cult slasher films ''Urban Legend'' (1998) and '' Valentine'' (2001). He later directed the horror films ''Storm Warning'' (2007) and ''Long Weekend'' (2008). Biography He attended film school at Melbourne's Swinburne Film School (becoming the Victorian College of the Arts during his three years of study). Ian Henderson (born 15 August 1953) is a retired Australian television news presenter and journalist. Henderson was the weeknight presenter of '' ABC News Victoria'' in Melbourne and ''ABC News at Five''. Life and career Henderson graduated from Haileybury College, Melbourne, in 1970. He joined the ABC in 1980 after completing a cadetship with the Leader Associated Newspapers - the network of News Limited local newspapers in Victoria and worked as a state political and industrial reporter, as well as being an ABC correspondent for Europe in the early 1990s. William Franklyn
William Leo Franklyn (22 September 1925 – 31 October 2006) was a British actor, perhaps best known for voicing the "Schhh... You Know Who" adverts for Schweppes from 1965 to 1973. He also performed on stage, film, television and radio, taking over from Peter Jones as "The Book" (the narrator) in the third, fourth and fifth radio series of ''The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy''. He is also known for his portrayal of Sexton Blake for BBC Radio 4 in 1967. ''Psycho II'' is a 1983 American psychological slasher film directed by Richard Franklin, written by Tom Holland, and starring Anthony Perkins, Vera Miles, Robert Loggia, and Meg Tilly. Richard Franklin (director)
Richard Franklin (15 July 1948 – 11 July 2007) was an Australian film director. Early life and career Franklin was born and grew up in Brighton, Melbourne, the son of Margaret Anne (Jacobson) and Rea Richard Franklin, an engineering company director. He was educated at Haileybury College. In the 1960s, Franklin was the drummer in the Melbourne band The Pink Finks, which also featured Ross Wilson and Ross Hannaford, later of Daddy Cool. The band released several singles, none of which had any significant chart success. Franklin decided upon a career in film rather than music. He went on to study film at The University of Southern California alongside other notable directors George Lucas, Robert Zemeckis and John Carpenter. Adam Elliot (born 2 January 1972) is an Australian stop-motion animation writer, director and producer based in Melbourne, Australia. His five films have collectively participated in over seven hundred film festivals and have received over one hundred awards, including an Academy Award for '' Harvie Krumpet'' and five Annecy Cristals. Elliot calls himself an auteur filmmaker and each of his films have a bittersweet nature to them. He does not engage with commercial work and works exclusively on his own film projects. Based loosely on his family and friends, Elliot calls each of his works a Clayography – clay animated biography. Each film takes up to five years to complete.
