In this page are contained all the lists of number-one singles from the Official Finnish Charts, the official Finnish music charts that began in 1989. Musiikkituottajat – IFPI Finland, the association of Finnish music industry, publishes currently three separate singles charts: the Official Finnish Singles Chart (''Suomen virallinen singlelista'') which takes into account both physical singles and digital tracks (singles, promotional singles and non-singles), the Official Finnish Download Chart (''Suomen virallinen latauslista''), which since February 2007 has listed tracks accordingly to their digital sales, and the Official Finnish Airplay Chart, which since 24 November 2013 has listed tracks accordingly to their airplay. Pete Parkkonen (singer)
Pete Eemeli Parkkonen (born 8 February 1990) is a Finnish singer singing in both Finnish and English. He took part in the Finnish ''Idol'' competition in its fourth season finishing third. After ''Idol'' he launched a solo career releasing albums ''The First Album'' in 2009 that topped the Finnish Albums Chart followed by ''I'm an Accident'' in 2010. Career ;In ''Idol'' Parkkosen auditioned with "Mies jolle ei koskaan tapahdu mitään", a song by J. Karjalainen. during the competition, he interpreted various songs, most notably "Queen City" and "I Kissed a Girl". In the semi-finals, he sang songs from Foo Fighters, Danko Jones and Eppu Normaali making it to the Final 3. The season finals were held on 9 November 2009 with Parkkonen considered the favourite to win. However, he was unexpectedly eliminated in the Final 3 phase finishing third. The Revolution (band)
The Revolution is an American band formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1979 by Prince, serving as his live band and later as his studio band. The band's sound incorporated rock, pop, R&B, funk, new wave and psychedelic elements. Along with Prince's other projects, the Revolution helped create the Minneapolis sound. By the time of their 1986 breakup, the Revolution had backed Prince on two studio albums, two soundtracks and two videos. "Purple Rain" is a song by American musician Prince and his backing band the Revolution. It is the title track from the 1984 album of the same name, which in turn is the soundtrack album for the 1984 film of the same name starring Prince, and was released as the third single from the album. Teflon Brothers is an Finnish hip hop group originally from Helsinki, Finland. The band consists of Pyhimys, Heikki Kuula and Voli.
