The Billboard Top Latin Albums, ''Billboard'' Top Latin albums chart, published in Billboard (magazine), ''Billboard'' magazine, is a record chart that features Latin music sales information. This data are compiled by Nielsen SoundScan from a sample that includes music stores, music departments at electronics and department stores, Internet sales (both physical and digital) and verifiable sales from Music venue, concert venues in the United States. There were thirteen number-one albums on this chart in 2006. The best-selling Latin album was ''Barrio Fino en Directo'' by Daddy Yankee. This album debuted at number 24 in the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200 in the last week of 2005; it spent 13 weeks at the top of the chart, more than any other number-one albums in the chart. MarÃa Nieves Rebolledo Vila, better known by her stage name Bebe (born 9 May 1978), is a Spanish singer, songwriter, and actress who rose to international fame with the singles "Malo" and "Ella". Biography MarÃa Nieves Rebolledo Vila was born in Valencia, Spain, although very soon she moved to Extremadura, where she spent her entire childhood. Her parents were members of the Extremaduran folk group Surberina. The Latin Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Album was an honor presented annually at the Latin Grammy Awards from 2001 to 2011. The award was given to a male performer for albums containing at least 51% of new recordings of the pop genre. Since its inception, the award category has had several name changes.
