Imbiah Lookout is Singapore's biggest cluster of attractions, it is located in Sentosa Island. The area contains 11 attractions. History Built in the 1980s, Imbiah lookout was unnamed until 2003. The area originally covered 30% of Sentosa's area. Later, much of Imbiah Lookout was demolished to make way for Resorts World Sentosa, so that it now only covers 20% of Sentosa, which is half the area of Mount Imbiah and down its slope facing Siloso Beach. The Singapore Sports Museum is a sports museum in Singapore, located at the Singapore Sports Hub in Kallang. The Singapore Sports Museum was established in 1983 at the former National Stadium to preserve and showcase Singapore's sporting heritage. It was opened to the public in May 1983 to coincide with the staging of the 1983 Southeast Asian Games in Singapore. In 2007, its collection was temporarily moved to the Singapore Sports Council's (SSC) temporary office and heritage corners of selected SSC sports and recreation centres such as Jurong West and Sengkang, while a new iteration of the museum was constructed as part of the Singapore Sports Hub project, originally expected to be completed by 2011. The rebuilt museum reopened on 6 October 2014, which added new interactive exhibits, an exhibit paying tribute to the former National Stadium, and a new Singapore Youth Olympic Museum. The Singapore Philatelic Museum ( Chinese: 新加坡集邮博物馆; ta, சிங்கப்பூர் அஞ்சல்தலை அருங்காட்சியகம்) is a museum about the postal history of Singapore and its stamps. Background The museum, located at 23-B Coleman Street in Singapore, was formerly part of the Anglo-Chinese School, completed in 1906. In the 1970s, the building became the Methodist Book Room until it was restored to become the present museum. The museum is currently closed for renovations. Nei Xue Tang Museum
The Nei Xue Tang Museum ("Hall of Inner Learning") (Simplified Chinese: 内学堂)is a private museum of Buddhist art in Singapore. It is the first home museum in Singapore. The museum was created by collector Woon Wee Teng under a program enacted by the Singapore government to allow collectors to show their collections in their own homes. Opened in 2005, the collection is located in a four-storey pre-war house built in the Peranakan style on Cantonment Road. It is Singapore's first home museum. The museum is by invitation only. Singaporean billionaire businessman, Oei Hong Leong, houses most of his 50,000-piece collection of Buddhist artifacts at the Museum. The Mint Museum of Toys is a purpose-built museum showing a private collection of vintage toys. It was officially opened on March 5, 2007, and officiated by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr George Yeo. The museum is located at 26 Seah Street, in the Arts & Heritage district of Singapore. Madame Tussauds Singapore is a wax museum and tourist attraction at the Imbiah Lookout of Sentosa Island in Singapore. It officially opened on 25 October 2014 as the seventh Asian branch of the Madame Tussauds chain of wax attractions worldwide. Wax figures The wax attraction features many wax figures of notable political icons, famous superstars, sports icons and others, including Yusof Ishak, Sukarno, Lee Kuan Yew, David Beckham, Sharukh Khan, Johnny Depp and Lady Gaga.
