Distribution It is found from north-eastern China, Japan and Korea, south and east through China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines and Peninsular Malaysia, to the Greater Sunda Islands, west through Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka and India to Kashmir. It is an introduced species in Hawaii. Description The wingspan is 90–122 mm. ''Dolbina inexacta'', the common grizzled hawkmoth, is a species of moth of the family Sphingidae. Distribution It is found from Pakistan, northern and central India and Nepal across Myanmar, southern China, northern Thailand and northern Vietnam to Taiwan. Description The wingspan is 55–86 mm. The thorax, legs and wings undersides are brown. There are large black mesial patches on the abdomen underside. The discal interspace on the forewing upperside is sometimes pinkish grey between the discal cell and the hind margin. Dolbina Grisea
''Dolbina grisea'', the mountain hawkmoth, is a moth of the family Sphingidae. The species was first described by George Hampson in 1893. It is known from northern Pakistan, Kashmir, eastern Afghanistan, Tajikistan and the western Gissar Mountains of southern Uzbekistan. The habitat consists of light, temperate montane forest, including juniper woodland. The wingspan is 50–64 mm. Adults are on wing in early April, from early June to August, and (sometimes) from late September to early October. There are two or three generations per year. ''Pentateucha curiosa'', the hirsute hawkmoth, is a moth of the family Sphingidae. The species was first described by Charles Swinhoe in 1908. It is known from Nepal, north-eastern India, Yunnan in south-western China, northern Thailand and northern Vietnam. The wingspan is about 104 mm. Adults are on wing in January in Vietnam and from mid-December to mid-February in northern Thailand. The larvae probably feed on '' Ilex'' species (including '' I. triflora''). In captivity, larvae have been reared on leaves of '' I. aquifolium''.
