Bodybuilding is the use of progressive resistance exercise to control and develop one's muscles (muscle building) by muscle hypertrophy for aesthetic purposes. It is distinct from similar activities such as powerlifting because it focuses on physical appearance instead of strength. An individual who engages in this activity is referred to as a bodybuilder. In professional bodybuilding, competitors appear in lineups and perform specified poses (and later individual posing routines) for a panel of judges who rank them based on symmetry, muscularity, size, conditioning, posing, and stage presentation. Bodybuilders prepare for competitions through the elimination of nonessential body fat, enhanced at the last stage by a combination of extracellular dehydration and carbo-loading, to achieve maximum muscular definition and vascularity; they also tan and shave to accentuate the contrast of their skin under the spotlights. Mohammed Benaziza
Mohammed Benaziza ( ar, محمد بن عزيزة) (1959 in Algeria – 4 October 1992 in Netherlands) was a professional bodybuilder. Biography Benaziza was a soccer player in his childhood in France, and started to work out while continuing to play soccer. He finally chose bodybuilding and started competing as an amateur in France. He won his first competition in Spain (under 75 kg-category) and after that he continued to win small prizes until his first participation in the Night of Champions in 1990, which he won. Dorian Yates took second place. On that occasion, Benaziza was nicknamed the "Killer of Giants" by Joe Weider. He participated in the prestigious Mr. Olympia contest three times. Robert Michael Cicherillo (born December 1, 1965) is an American IFBB professional bodybuilder. Biography Cicherillo's first bodybuilding competition was the 1981 Natural America, where he placed 4th in the teen tall class. His first NPC (National Physique Committee) event was the 1987 NPC Junior Nationals, where he won in the heavyweight class division. Troy Fitzgerald Brown (born July 2, 1971) is an American football coach and former player who is the wide receivers and kick returners coach for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL).
