This is a list of magazines published by the Japanese publishing company ASCII Media Works. After the merger of ASCII and MediaWorks on April 1, 2008, the two companies' active magazines continued publication. Most of their magazines center on anime, manga, bishōjo games, or video games. A large number of ASCII Media Works' magazines carry the title which precedes the title of a given magazine; the ''Dengeki'' label is also used on publishing imprints, and contests held by the company, making it a well-known trademark for ASCII Media Works. Other magazines focus on computers and information technology. ASCII Media Works
ASCII ( ), abbreviated from American Standard Code for Information Interchange, is a character encoding standard for electronic communication. ASCII codes represent text in computers, telecommunications equipment, and other devices. Because of technical limitations of computer systems at the time it was invented, ASCII has just 128 code points, of which only 95 are , which severely limited its scope. All modern computer systems instead use Unicode, which has millions of code points, but the first 128 of these are the same as the ASCII set. Dengeki G's Magazine
is a Japanese magazine published by ASCII Media Works (formerly MediaWorks) and sold monthly on the thirtieth that primarily contains information on bishōjo games, but also includes an entire section on anime based on bishōjo games, and serializes manga and light novels based on such games. The "G's" in the title stands for "Gals" and "Games". The magazine is known for hosting reader participation games whose outcome is directly influenced by the people who read the magazine; such games include ''Sister Princess'', and ''Strawberry Panic!''. is a Japanese video gaming publication by ASCII Media Works (formerly MediaWorks). It primarily features information pertaining to the PlayStation brand. Dengeki was originally founded as a magazine in 1994 and ran until 2020, when it ceased production and went fully digital as ''Dengeki Online''. (lit. "Nintendo Shock") is a Japanese gaming magazine published by ASCII Media Works (formerly MediaWorks). The magazine mainly covers information pertaining Nintendo games and consoles.
