Florida State Road 33A
State Road 33 (SR 33) is a state highway running through Lake County, Florida, Lake and Polk County, Florida, Polk counties in Florida. Route description State Road 33 begins in Lakeland, Florida, Lakeland off U.S. Route 92 (US 92) east of the intersection with U.S. Route 98 in Florida, US 98 and heads north along the vicinity of the west bank of Lake Parker. North of there it curves to the northeast and has one of two interchanges with Interstate 4 (I-4). The first interchange (Exit 33) provides westbound access via North Socrum Loop Road (County Road 582 (Polk County, Florida), CR 582), and eastbound access directly to SR 33. The route turns more to the east away from I-4, until it curves north at the northern terminus of Florida State Road 569. It has an encounter at the second interchange with I-4 (Exit 38) where it actually crosses under the interstate. NY 33A was assigned as part of the 1930 renumbering of state highways in New York, but only from Riga to Rochester. It was extended westward to its current terminus in Bergen . County Route 33A (Rockland County, New York)
County routes in Rockland County, New York, are maintained by the Rockland County highway department and signed with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices-standard yellow-on-blue pentagon route marker. Most of the routes act as primary roads in the less developed areas and also serve to interconnect the various villages and hamlets of the county. Across the county, routes are numbered such that odd-numbered routes are north–south and increase in number from east to west, while even-numbered routes are east–west and increase from south to north. There are 63 current routes and seven routes no longer maintained by the county, making for a total of 70 routes. The longest routes are CR 33, CR 23, and CR 80, all at over ten miles (16 km).
