José Gregorio Vielma Mora (born 26 October 1964, San Cristóbal, Táchira) was the former governor of the Venezuelan state of Táchira (2012-2017). He is a member of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela. Luisa Teresa Pacheco de Chacón (died 10 August 2023) was a Venezuelan politician. She was the first female governor of Táchira state, appointed by President Jaime Lusinchi. A Governor must be a Venezuelan over the age of 25 who is not a member of the clergy. The Governor can be elected for a term of four years by a majority vote. César Alejandro Pérez Vivas (born April 24, 1957), is a Venezuelan lawyer and politician associated with COPEI in Táchira State. From 2008 to 2012, he was the Governor of Táchira. Career He studied the secondary level at Jáuregui, a military school from Táchira State. Later Pérez Vivas got graduated as a lawyer at the Catholic University of Tachira. Finally he did the postgraduate level at Central University of Venezuela. Pérez Vivas worked also as a university lecturer. Pérez Vivas was chosen Youth Secretary of COPEI -Táchira in 1977. Later he became National Youth Secretary of that party. From 2002 to 2007, Pérez Vivas was the General Secretary of COPEI. Fifth Republic Movement
The Fifth Republic Movement (Spanish: ''Movimiento V uintaRepública'', MVR) was a socialist political party in Venezuela. It was founded in July 1997, following a national congress of the Revolutionary Bolivarian Movement-200, to support the candidacy of Hugo Chávez, the former President of Venezuela, in the 1998 presidential election. The "Fifth Republic" refers to the fact that in 1997 the Republic of Venezuela was the fourth in Venezuelan history, and the Movement aimed to re-found the Republic through a constituent assembly.
