The Division 1 Féminine is the highest league of women's football in France. The league, which started in 1974, was divided in two separate divisions (Division 2 Féminine and Division 3 Féminine). The following players must meet both of the following two criteria: #Have played at least one Division 1 Féminine game. Players who were signed by Division 1 Féminine clubs, but only played in lower leagues, cup games and/or European games, or did not play in any competitive games at all, are not included. Division 1 Féminine
The Division 1 Féminine, shortened as D1 Féminine or D1F, and currently known as D1 Arkema for sponsorship reasons, is the highest division of women's football in France. Run by the French Football Federation, the league is contested by twelve fully professional clubs. Founded in 1974, the league exists in its current format since 1992. Seasons run from September to June, with teams playing 22 games each totaling 132 games in the season. Most games are played on Saturdays and Sundays. Play is regularly suspended after the second week in December before returning in the third week of January. The Division 1 Féminine is ranked the best women's league in Europe according to UEFA 2019–20 women's association club coefficients. Evelyn Nwabuoku
Evelyn Nwabuoku (born 14 November 1985) is a Nigerian footballer who plays as a midfielder for En Avant de Guingamp in the French Division 1 Féminine and the Nigeria women's national football team and she is the captain of the national side. Nwabuoku played previously for BIIK Kazygurt in the Kazakhstani women's football championship and both Bayelsa Queens and Rivers Angels in the Nigerian Women's Championship. Club career Nwabuoku played in the Nigerian Women's Championship for Bayelsa Queens and Rivers Angels before moving to BIIK Kazygurt of the Kazakhstani women's football championship in 2015.
