Louise Aitken-Walker
Louise Aitken-Walker MBE (born January 1960 in Duns, Berwickshire) is a British rally and saloon car racing driver. Aitken-Walker entered competition in 1979 and finished 19th in her first Rally GB two years later. She contested the 1989 British Touring Car Championship in a Class C Vauxhall Astra finishing fifth in points, and in 1990 was the first ever Ladies World Champion, the pinnacle of a successful 14-year career. She was awarded the Segrave Trophy in 1990. She retired in 1993 to have a family (son John and daughter Gina) and concentrate on her business affairs. She runs Aitken-Walker Cars, which specializes in quality used cars, with her husband Graham in the Scottish Borders. In September 2008, Aitken-Walker took part in the ''Colin McRae Forest Stages Rally'', a round of the Scottish Rally Championship centred in Perth in Scotland. Emma Gilmour (born 30 September 1979) is a rally driver from New Zealand currently competing in Extreme E with McLaren XE. Early and personal life Gilmour was born in Dunedin in 1979. Her father and maternal grandfather were both mechanics. Before taking up motor racing in her early 20s she was an equestrian representing Otago–Southland in eventing and participating in the New Zealand development squads. Gilmour runs a Suzuki car dealership in Dunedin outside of racing. Christine Giampaoli Zonca (born 22 July 1993), more commonly known by her nickname Christine GZ, is an Italian-Spanish rally and off-road race driver. After an off-road racing career in America, competing with the team Dynamic Racing, Zonca raced in Europe with the Avatel Telecom Race Team. In late 2020, Zonca scored a third-place win in the Andalucia Rally round of the FIA World Cross Country Championship. Biography GZ was born to Italian parents in Pondicherry, India, where she lived for eight years before moving to Milan, Italy, and then to the Tenerife, Canary Islands. She completed a degree in motorsports technology at Birmingham City University. She initially worked at her neighbor's garage.
