Electro House
Electro house is a genre of electronic dance music characterized by heavy bass and a tempo around 130 beats per minute. The term has been used to describe the music of many ''DJ Mag'' Top 100 DJs, including Benny Benassi, Skrillex, Steve Aoki & Deadmau5. Characteristics Simon Reynolds described electro house, as a style attributed to artists like Zedd, Erol Alkan and Bloody Beetroots. Electro-house is typified by its heavy bass. This is often in the form of buzzing basslines, such as those created with sawtooth waves and distortion. It is also often in the form of large bass drum sounds in a four-on-the-floor pattern. The tempo of electro house is usually between 125 and 135 beats per minute, usually 130. Electro house sometimes resembles tech house, but it can contain melodic elements and electro-influenced samples and synths. The Bloody Beetroots is an Italian electronic music project of musician and producer Bob Rifo (also Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo and SBCR, born Simone Cogo). Established in late 2006, the Bloody Beetroots were initially a duo consisting of Bob Rifo and Tommy Tea, who later left in 2012. Blasterjaxx
Blasterjaxx is a Dutch DJ and record producer duo composed of Thom Jongkind (born 1990) and Idir Makhlaf (born 1991), originated in The Hague and active since 2010. They are mostly known for producing big room house and electro house music, being more active in the first genre. History In 2010, Thom Jongkind, known professionally as Scalix, formed a duo called Blasterjaxx with producer Leon Vielvoije, who left soon after joining. Jongkind then continued under the Blasterjaxx name and started collaborating with Idir Makhlaf, known professionally as Macosta. Makhlaf eventually officially joined Jongkind under the name Blasterjaxx. Bingo Players is a Dutch dance and electro house musical project fronted by DJ and record producer Maarten Hoogstraten (). Bingo Players was originally a duo, which included Paul Bäumer, who died from cancer in 2013. After the death of Bäumer, Hoogstraten announced that Bäumer had wished for him to continue under the Bingo Players name. They are best known for their hit songs "Cry (Just a Little)" and " Rattle". "Cry (Just a Little)" was a top-40 hit in the Netherlands, Belgium, United Kingdom and other parts of Europe and Australia, in addition to being an international club hit. Benny Benassi
Marco "Benny" Benassi (; born 13 July 1967) is an Italian DJ, record producer and remixer. He is widely seen as a pioneer of electro house, a genre brought into the mainstream by his 2002 summer club hit " Satisfaction". He started his career as DJ along with his cousin Alessandro "Alle" Benassi, forming the electronica duo Benassi Bros. Although he began to gain popularity with his pseudonym in 1997 by releasing the song "Electric Flying", his first international hit was "I Feel So Fine", launched in 2001 under the nickname KMC. In 2003, Benassi released his first solo debut album, '' Hypnotica'', to positive reviews. Daniel "Danny" Avila Rosón (born April 1, 1995) is a Spanish house and electro house DJ and producer. Career He has worked with Tiësto, Deniz Koyu and Fedde Le Grand. His first set was in 2010 in the Spanish club Kapital. In 2011, he was nominated as the "DJ Revelación" at the Vicious Music Awards by Ron Barceló 2011.
