This is a list of living British royal family members who, through royal descent or marriage, currently hold the rank of British prince or British princess. By descent By marriage The wife of a British prince becomes a British princess, but she cannot use the title before her own given name. She can use the princess title with her husband's given name (e.g. Princess Michael of Kent), while the wife of the Prince of Wales is styled as the Princess of Wales (e.g. Catherine, Princess of Wales). Men cannot become princes by marriage. Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, (Henry Charles Albert David; born 15 September 1984) is a member of the British royal family. He is the younger son of Charles III and his first wife Diana, Princess of Wales. He is fifth in the line of succession to the British throne. He is the husband of Princess Eugenie of the United Kingdom, making him a member of the British royal family.
