This list shows cover versions of songs originally by the Irish rock band U2 that have been recorded and released. "40" " 40" is the tenth and final track from U2's 1983 album, ''War''. ''After the Rain'' was the first album by Irish girl group Bellefire, recorded in 2001. It was prevented from being widely released in 2002 by Virgin Records' sudden decision to axe the group. This was in spite of the recent success of their single " All I Want Is You". By that time, the album had only been released in Japan. The album achieved some success in Japan and spawned the 3 singles, " Perfect Bliss", "Buzzstyle (Find My Way)" and " All I Want Is You". Although not received outside Japan, the European version of the album was to include new tracks. Bellefire
Bellefire were an Irish girl group, best known for their 2002 cover of the U2 song " All I Want Is You". The original line-up consisted of Kelly Kilfeather (born 23 March 1979), Tara Lee (born 25 July 1982), Cathy Newell (born 14 July 1982) and Ciara Newell (born 7 July 1983). Tara Lee left the group in 2002. They mostly performed pop and adult contemporary music. Outside Southeast Asia and their native Ireland, they have received minimal recognition, although they did experience minor success in the United Kingdom with their singles. Kane (Dutch Band)
Kane was a Dutch rock band. In its final stage, the group consisted of the two original members, Dinand Woesthoff (lead vocals) and Dennis van Leeuwen (guitar). The band was inspired by U2, Pearl Jam, Queen, and Nirvana. History Kane got its start in The Hague in 1998, when Dinand and Dennis met each other in a beach cafe where they were both working at the time. Both had a passion for music and it did not take long before they were discovered in a small cafe where they performed for a very small audience. Beelzebubs
The Tufts Beelzebubs, frequently referred to as "The Bubs", is a male a cappella group of students from Tufts University that performs a mix of pop, rock, R&B, and other types of music while spreading their motto of "Fun through Song." Founded in 1962, they have toured in Europe, Asia, South America, and North America, and they competed on NBC's ''The Sing-Off'' in December 2009, finishing in second place. Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) is a British symphony orchestra based in London, that performs and produces primarily classic works. The RPO was established by Thomas Beecham in 1946. In its early days, the orchestra secured profitable recording contracts and important engagements including the Glyndebourne Festival Opera and the concerts of the Royal Philharmonic Society. After Beecham's death in 1961, the RPO's fortunes declined steeply. The RPO battled for survival until the mid-1960s, when its future was secured after a report by the Arts Council of Great Britain recommended that it should receive public subsidy. A further crisis arose in the same era when it seemed that the orchestra's right to call itself "Royal" could be withdrawn. In 2004, the RPO acquired its first permanent London base, at Cadogan Hall in Chelsea. The Mission (known as The Mission UK in the United States) are an English gothic rock band formed in 1986. Absolute is the brand of a long-running series of compilation albums owned by the Swedish record company EVA Records. Initially, the only albums in the series were called ''Absolute Music'', but starting in 1990 there have been other themed albums such as ''Absolute Dance'' and ''Absolute Rock''. History The first ''Absolute'' album, ''Absolute Music 1'', was released on November 11, 1986.
