Obie Baizley
William Obadiah Baizley (May 25, 1917 – May 3, 2000) was a politician in Manitoba, Canada. He was a Progressive Conservative member of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba from 1959 to 1969, and served as a cabinet minister in the governments of Dufferin Roblin and Walter Weir. Born in Montreal, Quebec, the son of William Daniel Baizley and Esther May Tanner, Baizley was educated at Glenlawn Collegiate in St. Vital, Manitoba and the Lincoln Chiropractic College in Indiana. He returned to Manitoba in 1937 and worked as a chiropractor, also serving as president of the Manitoba Chiropractors' Association before entering political life. During World War II, he was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force. In 1939, he married Jessie Anne MacDonald. Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially of the spine. It has esoteric origins and is based on several pseudoscientific ideas. National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) is a private university in Lombard, Illinois that focuses on the health sciences. The university offers professional degrees in chiropractic and naturopathic medicine, master's degrees in acupuncture and Oriental medicine, a bachelor's degree in biomedical science, and a certificate or associate degree in massage therapy. Joseph Janse
Joseph Janse (August 19, 1909 in Middelburg, Netherlands – December 18, 1985), was the third child of Jan Pieter and Gertrude (De Voogd) Janse. Arriving in the US at age six, he attended the Weber County, Utah public schools, and he received two years of Pre-medical education at Weber State College by 1930. After three years in Europe as a missionary, he transferred to University of Utah to complete his pre-medical studies. He entered National College of Chiropractic in the spring of 1935 and received both the DC and ND degrees on June 17, 1938. On June 24, 1938, he married Gloria Julie Schade in Utah and they had three children. William Ivens
William Ivens (June 28, 1878 – June 20, 1957) was a religious and political figure in Manitoba, Canada. He was a leading figure in the Winnipeg General Strike,, and subsequently served as a Labour member of the Manitoba legislature from 1920 to 1936. Personal life Ivens was born in Barford, in Warwickshire, England, to William Ivens and Sarah Willis. He then immigrated to Canada in 1896 when he was 16. Ivens was educated at Wesley College, Winnipeg and was greatly influenced by Reverend Salem Bland. Teddy Infuhr (November 9, 1936 – May 12, 2007), born Theodore Edward Infuhr, was an American child actor.
