Missouri is a state in the Midwestern region of the United States. Biehle, Missouri
Biehle was a village in Perry County, Missouri, United States. The population was 47 at the 2020 census. The community was founded in 1876 and named after the Biehle family. History In the 1840s, German Catholic immigrants from the Baden region of Germany settled in the area first known as ''Biehle Station''. One of the earliest settlers was a German immigrant named Maurus Biehle. In the 1850s, a log church was built on land donated by Maurus Biehle. In May 1869, a new stone church, St. Maurus Catholic Church, was dedicated for the German Catholic parish, and in January 1870, Father Joseph Hellwing became the first full-time priest. In 1925, the Tri-State Tornado struck the community, ripping the roof off a church, destroying many houses, and killing four people in town. The village disincorporated in 2003. Burfordville, Missouri
Burfordville is an unincorporated community in western Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, United States, on the banks of the Whitewater River. It is located five miles west of Jackson on Route 34. Bufordville is part of the Cape Girardeau–Jackson, MO- IL Metropolitan Statistical Area. Bollinger Mill State Historic Site and Burfordville Covered Bridge are both listed on the National Register of Historic Places listings in Cape Girardeau County. Name The town was formerly known simply as Bollinger's Mill as George Frederick Bollinger had built a mill on the site. Atchison County, Missouri
Atchison County is the northwesternmost county in the U.S. state of Missouri. As of the 2020 census, the county had a population of 5,305. Its county seat is Rock Port. It was originally known as Allen County when it was detached from Holt County in 1843. The county was officially organized on February 14, 1845, and named for U.S. Senator David Rice Atchison from Missouri. Geography According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of , of which is land and (0.5%) is water. Atchison's western boundary for the most part is the Missouri River and Nebraska. An 1867 flood straightened a bend in the river north of Watson. Both Nebraska and Missouri claimed the 5,000 acre McKissick Island that extends almost two miles into Atchison County. The Supreme Court in 1904 decided that the land belongs to Nebraska.
