The Cathedral of the Incarnation ( es, link=no, Catedral de la Encarnación) Also Encarnación Cathedral Is the name that receives a religious building affiliated to the Catholic Church that is located in the center of the city of Encarnación that is the capital of the Department of Itapúa in the southern end of the South American country of Paraguay. The current structure dates back to the efforts that began in 1913 and continued between 1928 and 1938 when it was opened. San Pedro de Ycuamandiyú () is a city and distrito in Paraguay. It is the capital of the department of San Pedro. The conquistador Aleixo Garcia, the first European to cross Paraguay and reach the Inca empire in 1524, is believed to have been killed near San Pedro on his return. The Mary Help of Christians Cathedral ( es, Catedral de María Auxiliadora ) also called Fuerte Olimpo Cathedral is the name given to a temple belonging to the Catholic Church and is located in the city of Fuerte Olimpo the capital of the department of Alto Paraguay in northern part of South American country of Paraguay, near the border with Brazil. The temple follows the Roman or Latin rite and functions as the headquarters of the Apostolic Vicariate of Chaco Paraguayo (''Vicariatus Apostolicus Ciachensis in Paraquaria Natione'') which was created in March 1948 with the Bull "Quo in Paraguayana" of Pope Pius XII. Coronel Oviedo (), locally simply known as Oviedo, is a city in east-central Paraguay. It is the capital of the Caaguazú Department, about 150 kilometers east of Asunción, and was founded in 1758.
