Vikram is an Indian actor who works prominently in Tamil film industry. After making his cinematic debut in the 1990 film ''En Kadhal Kanmani'', he acted in a series of small-budget Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. It was Bala's tragedy film '' Sethu'' (1999) that established Vikram in the Tamil film industry. In the early 2000s Vikram appeared in a series of masala films—''Dhill'', ''Gemini'', ''Dhool'' and ''Saamy'' all becoming commercially successful. Kennedy John Victor (born 17 April 1966), better known by his stage name Vikram, is an Indian actor and playback singer who predominantly works in Tamil cinema and has also acted in Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi films. He is among the most decorated actors in Tamil cinema, with awards including seven Filmfare Awards South, a National Film Award and a Tamil Nadu State Film Award. Amongst his other honours include the Kalaimamani Award from the Government of Tamil Nadu in 2004 and an honorary doctorate by the Popular University of Milan in May 2011. ''I'' is a 2015 Indian Tamil-language romantic action thriller film written and directed by S. Shankar. Produced and distributed by V. The Asianet Film Awards is an award ceremony for films presented annually by Asianet, a Malayalam-language television network from the south-Indian state of Kerala. Asianet says that awards ceremony has been instituted to honour both artistic and technical excellence in the Malayalam language film industry.
