The list of ambassadors of Japan to Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic started when Harukazu Nagaoka presented his credentials to the Czechoslovak government in 1921. Diplomatic relations between the Czechoslovak and the Japanese governments were established in 1920 and again in 1957.
