Clone (computer Science)
In computing, a clone is computer hardware, hardware or software that is designed to function in exactly the same way as another system. A specific subset of clones are remakes (or remades), which are revivals of old, obsolete, or discontinued products. Motivation Clones and remakes are created for some reasons, including competition, standardization, availability across platforms, and even as Homage (arts), homage. computer compatibility, Compatibility with the original system is usually the explicit purpose of cloning hardware or low-level software such as operating systems (e.g. AROS Research Operating System, AROS and MorphOS are intended to be compatible with AmigaOS). Application software is cloned by providing the same functionality. Commercially-motivated clones are made often during a competitor product's initial successful commercial run, intentionally competing with the original and trying to participate in their success. CZ 1500 Plus
Tadeo Czerweny S.A. is an Argentinian manufacturer of transformers and other high-power electrical equipment founded by Tadeo Czerweny in 1958. In 1985 they entered microcomputer field as Czerweny Electrónica, by marketing three rebranded Timex Sinclair models assembled in Argentina: the CZ 1000, CZ 1500 and CZ 2000. These machines had their hardware supplied by Timex Portugal, the portuguese branch of Timex Sinclair. Since Czerweny computers used Timex Sinclair chips and ROMs, their compatibility was close to 100% relative to the original Sinclair machines. They also look similar to the original Timex models. The CZ 1000 was a relabled Timex Sinclair 1000, the CZ 1500 was similar to the Timex Sinclair 1500 and the CZ 2000 is a Spectrum compatible in a Timex Sinclair 1500 case. General Information The NE-Z8000 computer is based around a Z80A CPU clocked at 3.6 MHz with 1KB of RAM (expandable to 16 KB). The 8KB ROM Rom, or ROM may refer to: Biomechanics and medicine * Risk of mortality, a medical classification to estimate the likelihood of death for a patient * Rupture of membranes, a term used during pregnancy to describe a rupture of the amniotic sac * ... comes with a built-in Sinclair BASIC interpreter. The machine has three input plugs, one socket for Composite video, composite video out and a part of the exposed circuit board where you can connect extra equipment. It has no switch; to turn it on, you simply plug it into the power supply. The video connector cable, about 120 cm long, should connect the computer to the television. A power supply provides 9V DC pow ...

Apply 300
In mathematics and computer science, apply is a function that applies a function to arguments. It is central to programming languages derived from lambda calculus, such as LISP and Scheme, and also in functional languages. It has a role in the study of the denotational semantics of computer programs, because it is a continuous function on complete partial orders. Apply is also a continuous function in homotopy theory, and, indeed underpins the entire theory: it allows a homotopy deformation to be viewed as a continuous path in the space of functions. Likewise, valid mutations (refactorings) of computer programs can be seen as those that are "continuous" in the Scott topology. The most general setting for apply is in category theory, where it is right adjoint to currying in closed monoidal categories. A special case of this are the Cartesian closed categories, whose internal language is simply typed lambda calculus. Programming In computer programming, apply applies a function t ...
