Natrona County is a County (United States), county in the U.S. state of Wyoming. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 79,955, making it the second-most populous county in Wyoming. Hot Springs State Park
Hot Springs State Park is a public recreation area in Thermopolis, Wyoming, known for its hot springs, which flow at a constant temperature of . The state park offers free bathing at the State Bath House, where temperatures are moderated to a therapeutic . The petroglyph site at Legend Rock, some 25 miles away, is also part of the park. Goshen County, Wyoming
Goshen County is a county in the U.S. state of Wyoming. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 12,498. Its county seat is Torrington. The eastern boundary of the County borders the Nebraska state line. Goshen County produces more cattle than any other Wyoming county. In 1997, the county had a total of 688 farms and ranches, averaging 1,840 acres. As of 2007, this had declined slightly to 665 farms and ranches in the county. History Goshen County was created in 1911 from a portion of Laramie County. Its government was organized in 1913. Hawk Springs State Recreation Area
Hawk Springs State Recreation Area is a public recreation area on Hawk Springs Reservoir, located southeast of Hawk Springs and north of La Grange in Goshen County, Wyoming. The state park occupies of land on the reservoir's western shore and is managed by the Wyoming State Parks, Historic Sites & Trails Division. Activities and amenities The park has a boat ramp, picnicking area, and campsites. The reservoir is home to a great blue heron rookery, accessible by boat. Guernsey Dam
Guernsey Dam is an earthfill dam on the North Platte River in Platte County in the U.S. State of Wyoming. The dam creates Guernsey Reservoir, the last of the 5 major reservoirs on the North Platte River in Wyoming. The dam contains a hydroelectric plant capable of 6.4 megawatts of electricity. The total capacity of the reservoir is of water which is used mainly for irrigation. Morrison-Knudsen (Now URS Corporation) and Utah Construction Company constructed Guernsey Dam and the hydroelectric plant as part of the North Platte Project to provide irrigation to eastern Wyoming and western Nebraska.
