The FIA World Rallycross Championship (official abbreviation is World RX) is a rallycross series organised by the FIA in conjunction with series promoter Rallycross Promoter GmbH (founded by Red Bull and KW25). The World RX of Finland is a Rallycross event held in Finland for the FIA World Rallycross Championship. The event made its debut in the 2014 season, at the Tykkimäki amusement park in the town of Kouvola. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya () is a motorsport race track in Montmeló, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. With long straights and a variety of corners, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is seen as an all-rounder circuit. The track has stands with a capacity of 140,700. World RX Of Catalunya
The World RX of Catalunya is a Rallycross event held in Spain for the FIA World Rallycross Championship. The event made its debut in the 2015 season, at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in the town of Montmeló, Catalonia. In 2015 and 2016, the event was called "World RX of Spain", changing its name in 2017 and 2018 to "World RX of Barcelona". From 2019 onwards, it's called "World RX of Catalunya". Due to COVID-19 pandemic which affected the 2020 FIA World Rallycross Championship season calendar, the circuit hosted a double-header season finale. The Circuit Trois-Rivières is a street circuit in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada. The circuit has been the home of the annual Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières, the longest-running street race in North America, since 1967. The circuit is located on the Terrain de l'Exposition (fairgrounds) and is unusual in that it passes through ''Porte Duplessis'', the narrow concrete gateway of the grounds at turn 3. The 2022 FIA World Rallycross Championship was the ninth season of the FIA World Rallycross Championship, an auto racing championship recognized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) as the highest class of international rallycross. Johan Kristoffersson won the drivers' championship for the fifth time. Kristoffersson Motorsport won the teams' championship for the first time under that name. Calendar On 15 December 2021, the provisional 2022 calendar was announced during the FIA World Motorsport Council decisions: The updated calendar was released on 21 March. It included one unconfirmed event. 2021 FIA World Rallycross Championship
The 2021 FIA World Rallycross Championship was the eighth season of the FIA World Rallycross Championship, an auto racing championship recognised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) as the highest class of international rallycross. The championship was due to begin on 12 June at the Lånkebanen in Norway and end on 10 October at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium; however after calendar adjustments, it began on 23 July at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain and ended on 28 November at the Nürburgring in Germany. 2021 was the first season with the WRC Promoter GmbH as the championship promoter after succeeding IMG, subsequently formed Rallycross Promoter GmbH.
