Cover Model
A cover model is a male or female whose photograph appears on the front cover of a magazine. The cover model is generally a fashion model, celebrity, or contest winner. Generally, cover models are depicted solitarily; however, on occasion magazines will present a front cover with multiple cover models. Female cover models are often referred to as cover girls. Cover models generally take part in a fashion or portrait photography photo shoot for the magazine. When a magazine depicts a candid or stock photography, stock image for the main cover image, the talent is referred to as the magazine "cover" rather than "cover model" or "cover girl". Anita Yuen
Anita Yuen Wing Yee (born 4 September 1971) is a Hong Kong film and television actress. Pageant career At the age of 18, Yuen entered the Miss Hong Kong 1990 pageant. She was a heavy favorite to win the crown from the semifinal to final. During the semifinals on August 5, 1990, she won the Miss Photogenic award. She had a semifinal score of 485, placing 3rd overall. The finals were held on August 21, 1990. She eventually beat out another big favorite, Helen Yung who was 1st runner up and the winner of 2 other awards. Raymond Meier born in Switzerland in 1957, is a Swiss-American Photographer. Career He began his photography career in 1972 while attending School of Applied Arts in Zurich and apprenticing in a commercial studio. At the age of twenty he opened his own studio in Zurich where he focused primarily on industrial and corporate photography. His work evolved to include portraiture, advertising, and ultimately fashion. In 1986 he moved to New York City to concentrate on his still life photography.
